NOTICE<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Charlotte County Sheriff\u2019s Office is now accepting applications\nfor full time Male Correctional Officers Positions. Requirements are as\nfollows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent<\/li>
  2. Must be in good physical condition.<\/li>
  3. Must be skilled in computer operations.<\/li>
  4. Must possess good writing and communications skills.<\/li>
  5. Will be required to attend and complete a Twelve-Week\nBasic Jailors Course at the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy,\nLynchburg, VA, which consists of written examinations, as well as, extensive\nphysical and self-defense training.<\/li>
  6. Must be 18 years of age.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Pre-Certified\nApplicants through DCJS and county residents are desired.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note: <\/strong>Applications\nare available at the Charlotte County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
