How to verify your address is correct in the 9-1-1 System

If you would like to test your phone line please follow the below instructions. This is an effort to ensure accuracy of our enhanced 9-1-1 system and will better allow us to send you help when in need.

• Dial 9-1-1
• Advise the Communications Officer that you are testing your phone line and do not have and emergency.
• The Communications Office will ask you several questions designed to verify information.

**NOTE** The officer may need to put you on hold or may ask you to call back later if they are handling an emergency situation when you call. We apologize in advance if this occurs, but we must address priority calls first.
