NOTICE
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for full time Male Correctional Officers Positions. Requirements are as follows:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Must be skilled in computer operations.
- Must possess good writing and communications skills.
- Will be required to attend and complete a Twelve-Week Basic Jailors Course at the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, Lynchburg, VA, which consists of written examinations, as well as, extensive physical and self-defense training.
- Must be 18 years of age.
Pre-Certified Applicants through DCJS and county residents are desired.
Note: Applications are available at the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
