NOTICE

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for full time Male Correctional Officers Positions. Requirements are as follows:

1. Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
2. Must be in good physical condition.
3. Must be skilled in computer operations.
4. Must possess good writing and communications skills.
5. Will be required to attend and complete a Twelve-Week Basic Jailors Course at the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, Lynchburg, VA, which consists of written examinations, as well as, extensive physical and self-defense training.
6. Must be 18 years of age.

Pre-Certified Applicants through DCJS and county residents are desired.
